'32 Ford

Jim from Banbury has just bought this 32 Ford project. Jim is working on it non-stop at the moment and hopefully it will be ready for Billing next year. It will be done in traditional style, on steels with all old parts if poss. Power is from a Rover V8 and there's a Holly 390 and a bunch of other parts to go on it.

Singer Bantam

Rod from Rugby is building this 1930s Singer Bantam. He's planning on running a radical, blown V8 and is hoping that the rod will be ready in time for next year's Billing Fun Run.

1962 Chevy C10

This is Clare from Banbury's 1962 Chevy C10 stepside pick-up truck. Yet to be registered, it's a fresh import from the US and is undergoing a complete overhaul, uncluding new electrics, brakes, suspension and steering. Initially it will remain stock, but there are plans to replace the current Chevy 235 straight six with a 400ci Ford V8. More

1962 Vauxhall Cresta

Tim from Banbury has just begun work on this previously customised Vauxhall Cresta. A twin-turboed Ford 302 coupled to a Tremec 6 speed, should get the old girl moving nicely.

1959 Vauxhall Victor

Gary from Banbury has just taken ownership of this chopped '59 Vauxhall estate. Running gear is a 3.0 Ford V6, 2000E gearbox and Mk10 Jag back axle. Step 1 will be to get it water-tight.

Chevy S10 Drag Racer

John from Banbury will be selling this pick up this year as soon as he can sort an engine problem [or as is but cheaper]. Professionally built in the states by Kevin Blount, it started on the strip with a 900bhp motor and ran low 9-10s. Sold as a rolling shell it then had a fairly stock 305 motor put in. John bought it in Iowa and shipped it over in early 2008. The car has all documents and title deed but has never been registrared in th uk. Fine for strip use, but the idea was to put it on street. Needs a bit of work for that. Its had a top end rebuild with new intake, carb, distributor, etc., but seems to have an engine problem that will hopefully be sorted in the near future. Anyone can come look it sits on Johns drive and he's open to suggestions and offers of help.
