All are welcome, there's no club or membership, the regulars are friendly and the food's good too. The meet regularly attracts a mixture of around 30 to 60 hot rods, customs, yanks, classics, VWs and bikes. The meeting was started in March 2006 and has been growing ever since. After sampling the culinary delights of the diner, there is usually a cruise to a local event. Past cruises have included the Nostalgia Nationals, the Stoneliegh Kit Car show and the Parade in Leamington.</p> </td> </tr> <tr><td>&nbsp;</td></tr> <tr> <td align="center"><h4>The next meeting takes place on Sunday June 3rd</h4></td> </tr> <tr> <td colspan="2" align="center"> <table cellspacing="1" cellpadding="0"> <tr> <td onclick="previous_onClick();"><img id="previousButton" src="images/news/previous.gif" width="82" height="19" alt="Previous Item" style="cursor:pointer"/></td> <td onclick="pause_onClick();"><img id="pauseButton" src="images/news/pause.gif" width="82" height="19" alt="Pause/Play" style="cursor:pointer"/></td> <td onclick="next_onClick();"><img id="nextButton" src="images/news/next.gif" width="82" height="19" alt="Next Item" style="cursor:pointer"/></td> </tr> </table> </td> </tr> <tr> <td colspan="2"> <div id="news000"> <img src="images/news/drive-out-cancer.jpg" height="150" width="123" align="left" /> <p><b>Drive Out Cancer</b><br />Many of you will know Dorothy and Keith, who regularly make the long trip from Malvern over to the Butty Run in Keith's blue Model A. Dorothy managed to beat cancer towards the end of last year and in recognition of the excellent care she received they are planning to raise funds for Cancer Research UK and the Breast Care Unit at Worcester Royal Hospital. To do so they will take a uniquely hot rod oriented approach.</p> <p>They imported a 1928 Ford Model A Roadster 2010, the car is running it's original engine although all the wings have been removed and the car is styled as an early Lakes racer. At the NSRA Nostalgia Nationals at Shakespeare County Raceway in June Keith will drive the roadster in it's existing form and set the fastest time possible.</p> <p>Then the car will be completley taken apart, a new Engine, gearbox, back axle, breakes, and susspension will be fitted. Well, not quite new, as the build will be using parts no newer than 1950: so a 1938 Flathed V8, 3 speed gearbox, 1940 back axle and 1940 brakes, with 1932 suspension parts completing the set up.</p> <p>Although Dorothy has never driven the car on the road and has never been up the drag strip she will have 3 attempts at the NSRA Hot Rod Drags in September to beat the time set by Keith in June.</p> <p>It is meant as a bit of fun, but of course it has a serious note as well. So if you're interested in sponsoring Dorothy for £5 (or more if you wish) per run, please visit Dorothy's page on the <a href="http://www.justgiving.com/Dorothy-Elderkin" class="normal" target="__blank">Cancer Research site</a>.</p> </div> <div id="news001" style="display:none"> <img src="images/news/chimay.jpg" height="150" width="105" align="right" /> <p><b>1st European Hot Rod Show, Chimay, Belgium</b><br />There's what promises to be a good hot rod show at Chimay, Belgium on the 23-24 June.
