The Butty Run takes place on the first Sunday of every month at the Long Itchington Diner from 10:30am until around 12:30pm. All are welcome, there's no club or membership, the regulars are friendly and the food's good too. The meet regularly attracts a mixture of around 30 to 50 hot rods, customs, yanks, classics, VWs and bikes. The meeting was started in March 2006 and has been growing ever since. After sampling the culinary delights of the diner, there is usually a cruise to a local event. Past cruises have included the Nostalgia Nationals, the Stoneliegh Kit Car show and the Parade in Leamington.

The next regular meeting takes place on Sunday 5th July 2009

Wheels Vehicle Display Evening

Wednesday, 17th June will see the annual Wheels Display Evening at the Blue Lias pub, between Long Itchington and Stockton. Entry is free, although donations to the Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance will be gratefully accepted. Cars start to gather from around 18:00 and prizes are handed out at about 21:00. This is a friendly, informal show with a wide variety of vehicles attending. Anything "interesting" is welcome and if your register you vehicle, you get to vote for your favourite vehicles and there's even a category for Americans and Hot Rods. More details here. Check out previous years' galleries here and here.

Important Butty Run News

We had a very constructive chat with the proprietor of the Long Itch Diner at the last meet. Starting with the July meeting, there will be a free breakfast awarded to the waitress’s chosen car. There is also an on-going discussion to secure the use of part of the coach depot as extra parking. We’ll bring you an update when we learn more.
